I have decided while little Sam is away on holiday with his grandparents to finally update this blog, which I know has layed dormant for too long. This has given me some valuable thinking time about my role as a mum, writer and housewife. Having spent much of the day doing odd jobs around the house coupled with smidgins of writing here and there I have come to realise how important writing is to me and getting it out there in whatever form, I have decided on self-publishing. My new collection is called Modern Proverbs:Stories from Spain and Gibraltar and is available on Amazon and Createspace to buy. I haven’t given up on editing or traditional publishing by any stretch of the imagination. In fact I am keen to go back and retrace my routes of studying looking back on reading books from poets I have never really fully explored before, TS Elliot being one of them. Here are a couple of poems I have written today. Please feel free to read, share, whatever you want to do with it but I hope most of all you enjoy and leave comments if you wish.
