The Outsider

I am an outsider, a living recluse.
I work from the inside and turn myself loose.
The call of the wildest, the strangest ideals,
live in my spirit and help me to feel
freedom of heart, soul and mind,
living for good to help all mankind.
You may think me unclean, a purveyor of ill,
but I bring mercy of God to fulfil,
on everyone’s side, he asks us and preaches
to wrestle with our lesser side and defeat all our demons,
to teach us and learn from each other,
we will either love or hate
but better love and love well, to heal and create.
