The Aching Love

Have you ever had that aching love that never goes away?

A feeling for the child you have that always will remain.

Something that can’t be changed even day by day.

The love you have won’t be lost in sunshine or in shade.

The tears you shed , times you mourn, those days will soon be gone.

Forgotten for the star that shines deeply within you.

It will come to pass one day.

That aching love that never goes away, becomes a part

of the good days start, for bad and good remain.

The days are all but echoes of another time.

Your dreams but cosmic footprints that resonate in sound.

In metric beat, in heart pulsate, the core of you resides.

In that aching love that never goes away.
