Evacuation

Evacuation

The baby in his mother’s arms watched vacantly,
as his brothers and sisters were evacuated to the countryside.

he somehow recollects a brother and sister playing, and rocking him to sleep.
As he grows older and they return from the countryside a beam of delight and love reflects from teary eyes.
